It is not uncommon for me to be working on several paintings at the same time. This is partly due to the layering technique I use which makes it necessary to wait a few days for a paint layer to dry before applying another. As I hate to go a day without painting I try to keep at least four paintings in the works so that one is always available for me to paint.
